Since its inception the Southern Forests Food Council has supported events throughout the region and also participated in events outside the region, with the aim of raising awareness for the genuine fresh local produce, grown by genuine down to earth locals.

Local produce for local people. Provincial and seasonal. Direct from the paddock to your plate. That's what the Manjimup Farmers Market's are about. The market was started by a group of dedicated farmers who not only wanted to showcase the variety and abundance of produce grown in the area, they wanted to showcase to local people what fresh food was really all about.
Now held every Saturday, the Manjimup Farmers Market has a wide range of absolutely fresh fruit and vegetables grown right here in the region. Pick up some delectable jams, oils and desserts as well. Food simply doesn't come any fresher than this.

PINOT PICNIC
Raise your glass! Pinot Picnic is a four-day celebration of extraordinary events showcasing premium local Pinot and produce across Manjimup and Pemberton, Western Australia.
Wine and dine your way through the stunning Southern Forests & Valleys with a variety of pop-up Pinot themed events, or take the experience home and indulge in a local gourmet picnic hamper paired perfectly with regional pinots.
From sparkling soirées, tasting masterclasses, vineyard experiences, to wine-matching brunches, lunches and dinners, there's no doubt it's the season for Pinot.

TRUFFLE KERFUFFLE
Truffle Kerfuffle is a weekend long celebration of the truffle season in the heart of Australia's truffle country, Manjimup, Western Australia.
Manjimup and the Southern Forests produces more truffles than anywhere in the Southern Hemisphere. The festival offers the opportunity to engage with the regions truffle growers, as well as the wider community of growers in the Southern Forests.
Join truffle hunters to search out prized truffles, visit the gourmet Festival Village for a taste of the region or get your truffle fix at special dining events. Indulge in fireside cooking sessions in the Chef’s Cabin, catch free demonstrations and entertainment on the festival grounds; discover the farmers, producers, winemakers and community that make up the Southern Forests; or simply soak up the laid back atmosphere.

MANJIMUP CHERRY HARMONY FESTIVAL
The Manjimup Cherry Harmony Festival is a unique community event that celebrates the diversity of the horticultural industry in the Manjimup region.
Each year, thousands of visitors come to the heart of cherry country in Western Australia for their chance to meet local producers, taste their products, see cooking demonstrations, join in cherry pip spitting competitions, as well as watch fashion parades, vintage car procession and wood chopping competitions. The pinnacle of the event is the long table dining experience amongst the cherry trees.
