SOUTHERN FORESTS CHERRY TRAIL
The Southern Forests Food Council has collaborated with cherry producers throughout the Southern Forests region to form the first Genuinely Southern Forests Cherry Trail.
The self-drive trail, which is now live on Google Maps highlights where visitors to the region and locals, can buy cherries direct from the producer. Hard copies of the map are also available from the Southern Forests Food Council office.
Have your own Genuine Taste Experience as you drive around the Southern Forests region and buy farm fresh cherries direct from growers. Cherries are typically in season for December and January, with some producers starting earlier and others finishing later. Drop by the Southern Forests Food Council office and pick up a map if you prefer a printed visual.
